East Dubuque is a small city located in Jo Daviess County, Illinois situated on the Mississippi River across from Dubuque, Iowa.
This is continuing November 2, 3, and 4th. The City of East Dubuque will be flushing hydrants October 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 until 3:00 p.m. inside the city limits. Please refrain from doing laundry during this time period.
A Message to East Dubuque Residents
Over the past three years, with leadership from the City Council and active citizens, East Dubuque has undergone a remarkable transformation. 10-3-10: SEASONAL STREET SWEEPING:
A. The city of East Dubuque has established areas, days, and times that street sweeping will commence from the date of April 1 to October 31 each and every year, and
B. It is important to remove debris from the gutter line and to keep debris from blocking drainage infrastructure, and
C. The zones will consist of the following:

Sinsinawa Avenue, Wall Street, Highway 20, 1st Street, 2nd Street, 3rd Street, 4th Street, 5th Street, 6th Street, and the Bridge Approach. |

Zone 2 |
Peach Street, Cherry Street, Plum Street, Hill Street, Woodlawn Court, Pear Street, Apple Street, Wisconsin Avenue, St. Mary's Drive, and Highway 35. |

Zone 3 |
Montgomery Avenue, Sidney Street, Sherwood Avenue, Beecher Street, Clinton Avenue, Clarendon, Rivoli, Oak Street, East Street, Maple Street, Elm Street, Hiawatha Drive, Riverview Terrace, Greenwood Avenue, Hanley Way, Leibold Court, Scenic Heights, Arrowhead Court and Graham Street. |
On Tuesday and Friday mornings from five o'clock (5:00) A.M. to six o'clock (6:00) A.M. the city will sweep zone 1, and
On Tuesday mornings from nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. to eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. the city will sweep the even side of zone 2 and zone 3, and
On Friday mornings from nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. to eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. the city will sweep the odd side of zone 2 and zone 3, and
D. It will be unlawful to park any class of vehicle, dumpster, or trailer in zone 1, zone 2, or zone 3 during the afore specified schedule and is subject to a municipal parking fine of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). (Ord. 11-0517, 5-16-2011; amd. Ord. 22-0325, 4-11-2022)
